Exporting HR Access Regulations
By AMO
In a nutshell
HR Access regulations are exported as the LBT is not a connected tool. They are exported into Excel spreadsheets.
The exported data represents the current regulations and is the result of processing performed on the server, including:
- Reconstructing the mathematical formulas applied by the items
- Searching for triggers
Pros & Cons
-
It takes only a few minutes to process the regulations in their entirety.
-
Currently, the programs are written in Oracle PL/SQL, but with a tool like ChatGPT, it is possible to translate the PL/SQL code into any other database language.
-
It is possible to retain these Excel export sheets for online reintegration on demand, perform temporal or environment comparisons, or both.
-
It requires an environment where PL/SQL code can be executed, which may be considered a security risk on a managed site.
Exported Data
In this Excel spreadsheet, all payroll items are listed line by line, and for each item, the following data is captured:
- Code and labels
- Environment and extraction timestamp
- Calculation rank assigned by the lock
- Editing flag in the PRDB

- Elements related to CSCP (calculation period or pay period, prorated unit)
- Sign
- Calculation code, and grouping by calculation type to facilitate understanding for non-HR Access payroll configuration experts

- For contribution items, the code and label of the base used

- For items that use M1 and M2, such as contributions or numeric operands, the code and value of the constants used
In the case of a multi-criteria constant, the extraction programs retrieve the criteria and not the values.

- The calculation formula applied by the payroll item and its effective date

- Found triggers

- In the presence of HR Access GTA (Global Time and Attendance), GTA bonuses
- The cadence of the item

- The list of populated bases
This list is exhaustive but does not allow for comparisons. It will be possible later, with a selection of bases.

- The list of cumulative items
- Any recurring sums

- Comments present on the item
Comments present on an item should be considered with caution as they are rarely up to date.

- Qualifiers
- Detailed and aggregated pay slip positions, followed by the aggregated pay slip
The qualifier FRPELMIND indicates an item that can be entered in the EV (Employee Self-Service) to modify the behavior of a payroll rule.

- The organization for items that have an organization code
- Elements related to accounting
Elements related to accounting often need to be adapted to the chosen solution.

- Elements related to trigger formats

- For a selection of bases, details on how these bases are populated, with one column per base, allowing for comparison

- Finally, elements related to DSN (French Social Declarations)
