Quick solution, problems to come.

The downside of being in TMA (Tierce Maintenance Applicative) is that things often need to be done in a hurry.
You quickly find yourself in situations where you’re patching up issues with payroll configuration (‘The DSN is due tomorrow!’).
Like setting up a payroll item just to ‘get it through the DSN’. An item that doesn’t appear on the pay slip… and not in accounting either (speed was of the essence).
Result: discrepancies between the payroll known to accounting and the DSN. Sometimes, these discrepancies can be substantial. And to find them, a bit of ’tenacity’ is required.
Regularly cleaning up this type of issue is more than recommended. To correct what wasn’t right, and to reduce a Payroll / DSN gap.
